Lightning on the Lake

Another natural phenomenon that is more visible when it occurs over the lake is lightning because there is nothing to obstruct one’s view. I don’t know what the standard practice when photographing lightning might be. For these pictures I set a long exposure time – 15 seconds – and kept taking pictures in the hope of capturing something. I got tons of nothing. Here are some of the keepers. Taken August 2017.
